Rodeo x Daily Drills: RodeoU College Ambassador Feature

The creativity behind the collaboration...

Meet Claire Franques, one of our beloved ShopRodeo creators and a ShopRodeoU College Ambassador and her best friend, Bentley Moore, who made this collaboration come to life through such a fun photoshoot!

Bentley Moore and I met during our freshman year at TCU. We bonded over our mutual dislike for geography, but we had yet to realize our many shared interests. We both fell into Strategic Communication at TCU, which is an all encompassing major for public relations and advertising. This provided us with the opportunity to explore our individual niche in the field. However, it didn’t take long for Bentley and I to discover how complementary our skills and ambitions were. 

We quickly found common ground in our love for creativity, strategy, and the way that marketing could define brand identities. As our friendship grew, we began to shape our academic and career paths together. Now, as seniors, we are roommates, co-presidents of Public Relations Student Society of America, and brand ambassadors. 

We were both ecstatic when presented the opportunity to apply for the Daily Drills and ShopRodeoU College Ambassador programs. While Daily Drills focuses on loungewear and Rodeo serves as a platform for creators, we admired the companies for their creativity and entrepreneurial success in the fashion industry.

As Bentley and I felt we could not only excel in these roles as college ambassadors, we wanted to contribute our knowledge to these experiences with a collaboration between Daily Drills and ShopRodeo. Throughout our academic careers, we have learned the power of meaningful collaboration to create a compelling narrative. We worked with a local photographer, Victoria Grieg, to bring our vision for a collaboration between Daily Drills and ShopRodeo to life. 

Bentley and I wore our Daily Drills pieces and linked the collection on the ShopRodeo app. As college students who live in elevated yet comfortable class looks, Daily Drills has been a staple in our wardrobe. ShopRodeo has provided us the space to be creators and share how we styled our pieces. 

By pairing two distinct brands, we have been able to successfully engage our peers while expanding the reach of Daily Drills and ShopRodeo. This collaboration was a full-circle moment as we witnessed how our passions and shared creative spirit could elevate the brands we love.
