RODEO SEASONAL
A roundup of new arrivals that I’m shamelessly fighting the urge to buy.
You know that feeling when you're supposed to be working, but instead, you’re aimlessly jumping from site to site to browse the New Arrivals? Well, Zara dropped some Rodeo-inspired tees this week, and I fell right into that New Arrivals rabbit hole.
I find myself in that little rabbit hole quite often, and thought it’d be a fun new series to launch on Rodeo’s Substack: Rodeo Seasonal. Each week, I’ll share a roundup of new arrivals that I’m shamelessly fighting the urge to buy. Consider it a confessional of sorts, a peek into my shopping cart of dreams.
Let’s start with the tee that started it all:
… which may not be the most practical purchase for anyone else. I’m inarguably biased to anything “Rodeo”, but there’s something about the 90’s Champion x Rodeo that I can’t resist. Next, I stumbled upon some costume jewelry—usually, I'm a minimalist when it comes to accessories, but these pieces caught my eye:
It reminds me of this gold H.Stern necklace I’ve always loved of my mom’s. Thinking of pairing it with a classic Canadian tuxedo (you know, denim on denim) for that effortlessly chic vibe:
I just found this denim brand through Caroline on Team Rodeo… the top reminds me of a less expensive version of the Khaite Birdie top.
Or a denim maxi dress??:

Which brings me to that second piece of costume jewelry that caught my eye:
—a super fun set of bangles — they make a statement, and are only $28. A departure from my usual style, but perhaps I’m living in my maximalist era? These would look super cute with that denim maxi dress too!
So, then I really started spiraling down the New Arrivals rabbit hole… as I was perusing, I couldn’t help but think about how ready I am for fall weather. I found this dreamy pleated skirt [below] and now I’m officially flirting with the idea of fall fashion.

This red number has me imagining all the ways to style it, even though I might steer clear of the matching set vibe. Definitely need a new pleated skirt for fall.
And then… I found this pencil-pouch shaped Burberry bag that I DO NOT need but CANNOT stop thinking about:
It doesn’t even look like it can comfortably fit a phone, but why do I still need it?!
And the final piece I will share with you today… this adorable Love Shack meets Doen clutch / crossbody:
But it’s actually Zara.
Why am I so tempted by these impractical yet oh-so-adorable finds? Hope you’ll come back next week as we pick up where we left off navigating my weekly New Arrival finds!
If you care to do a little perusing yourself, it’s all linked here. I also added a few others I’m eyeing (but not buying……)
Until next week! xo Lindsay
