Rodeo Rundown featuring Tessa Trivax

This week on Rodeo Rundown we have a very special guest, Tessa Trivax! Tessa is one of our very own RodeoU college ambassadors with us from SMU.

For this Rodeo Rundown we wanted to incorporate the amazing Pantone FW 24 colors of the year and play into a fun collage with a monochromatic theme of cool and unique pieces. It all started when Tessa sent the Rodeo Team some amazing inspiration from the fashion & lifestyle curation page HappilyGrey, by MaryLawless Lee. We immediately fell in love with this collage idea with the Pantone FW 24 colors and that is when Tessa brought it to life! Hi everyone, my name is Tessa Trivax! For this upcoming fall/winter season, I chose to focus on the FW 24 Pantone colors that reflect both timeless fall staples and new trends. I chose two colors from Pantone: Starlight Blue and Cherry Tomato.

Accessories play a crucial role in elevating a look, and I’ve selected some chic options that bring a unique touch. They can transform a simple outfit into something special, making each feel curated and one-of-kind.

A good shade of red is a classic that always feels right in the fall by adding warmth and richness to any outfit! The Pantone Cherry Tomato color, is what I believe to be the most perfect, classic, and delicious shade of red for the FW seasons… I mean look! How good?!

This season, I’m also obsessed with a light blue, which I see appearing as a bold, trendy choice that will carry well into the winter. The Pantone Starlight Blue is the ultimate shade of the turqoise blue we have seen people play with here and there so far this season. It’s the perfect blend of the ice blue, with a warm and soft undertone making it a statement color, but a classic that is capable of being mixed and matched with other warm fall tones in your closet.

I love incorporating high-end pieces with affordable finds to create looks that are both chic and reachable. By doing this, I get a classic vibe with a twist of modern, keeping things fun without veering too far into common trends. I also look out for unique pieces that aren’t overly common, helping to create unique outfits. By doing so, you’re able to build a sustainable collection in your closet.
